Riot Games’ first collectible card game project—originally named Project K and later rebranded as Riftbound: League of Legends TCG—is set to enter the increasingly crowded TCG market in 2025. Riot Games is globally known for developing some of the most popular games ever created, including League of Legends and Valorant, as well as co-producing one of the most-watched series on Netflix, Arcane. This strong artistic and narrative foundation from the League of Legends universe gives depth and character to what already appears to be a highly anticipated trading card game.

Unleashed represents the third set of Riot’s new Riftbound TCG. It introduces new Champions to the battlefield, allowing players to take on the roles of some of the most beloved LoL champions, including Pyke, LeBlanc, Rengar, Diana, and many others. It continues to support both classic two-player (1v1) gameplay and four-player multiplayer mode (2v2). Each player uses a main character called a “Legend,” along with secondary cards called “Units” and “Spells,” enabling the creation of unique and iconic decks.
